About Me
California’s Central Coast has been my home for the majority of my life. I came to America just before the age of 4, from the United Arab Emirates, and lived in Santa Barbara for a few years. After moving around California with my family, I returned to the coast for college, attending UC Santa Barbara for all of my degrees. I reside on the central coast with my family.
- Worked with the California School System since 2007
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist
- Practicing since 2011.
- PhD from UC Santa Barbara in Special Education, Disabilities, and Risk Studies
- Masters in Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology
- Became Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) in 2012 and in 2015
- Become a diplomate of the American Board of School Neuropsychologists (ABSNP) in 2015
- Currently work as a district administrator in Special Education
Services
Educational Assessment and Intervention:
Comprehensive assessment for the purpose of Special Education eligibility or identification of giftedness. Assessment results will drive recommendations to best address student educational needs.
Behavioral Assessment and Intervention:
Comprehensive evaluations including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) development and assessment for additional adult support needs. Assessment results will drive recommendations to best address student needs.
Consultation:
Consultation to families and school teams in support of systems development and intervention/educational planning.
IEP Review:
Review of Individualized Education Plan documents.
Other Evaluations or Hourly:
Other Evaluations or Hourly: Including assessments or services of a more limited scope, such as Special Circumstances Instructional Assistant Assessments (SCIA) determining need for additional adult support, only academic achievement testing, or attending an SST or 504 meeting.
Also including additional hours (i.e., to add academic achievement testing to a contracted
psychoeducational evaluation, IEP meetings longer than two hours).
